Produce We Grow and When It Will Be Available

JUNE:  Asparagus, beets, broccoli, garlic, garlic scapes, herbs, lettuce (red leaf, green leaf, romaine, buttercrunch, oak leaf, iceberg, peas (snap, shelling and snow), swiss chard, kale.

 

 

JULY:  Beans (green and yellow) beets, blueberries for u-pick, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers (slicing and pickling), garlic, onions (red, spanish, and sweet – and we also are planting cooking onions and shallots), peas, peppers (bell, sweet and hot), potatoes (red, white, yukons), summer squash (yellow), sweet corn, swiss chard, tomatoes (slicing, plums and cherry and grape), zucchini (green).

 

 

AUGUST:  Beans (green and yellow), beets, blueberries, carrots, cabbage,  cucumbers (slicing and pickling), eggplant, garlic, leeks, onions, peppers (bell, sweet and hot), potatoes, summer squash, sweet corn, tomatoes (slicing, plums and cherry), zucchini. Also tomatoes and peppers for U-Pick.

 

 

SEPTEMBER:  Beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower (white, orange and purple), cucumbers, eggplant, garlic, leeks, onions, peppers, potatoes, shallots, sweet corn, tomatoes, kale, cabbage.

 

 

OCTOBER:  Beans, beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, eggplant, garlic, gourds, kale, leeks, onions, peppers, pie pumpkins, potatoes, pumpkins, sweet corn, tomatoes, winter squash (acorn, butternut, buttercup (green and orange), blue hubbard, spaghetti, delicata, sweet dumpling, honey nut, Romanesco.

 

 

NOVEMBER: Beets, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, garlic, gourds, onions, pie pumpkins, potatoes, Romanesco and winter squash.

 

 

****Just a note – frost usually happens sometime late September thru October – so depending when that is some produce will not be available. ****
