We are a family owned and operated 3rd generation farm – the same farm that Paul’s uncles bought in the early 1930’s. There is a strong heritage of farming on Paul’s side – but we are the 1st generation to be strictly a produce farm.
Paul and Gail got married in October, 1985, and have been attending farmers markets since 1984. We currently attend the East Aurora Farmers Market which runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays from the first Saturday in May until the Wednesday right before Thanksgiving – the market runs from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m. In 2010, we started a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) on our farm and it was a huge success!
We are currently in the in the process of becoming GAP (good agricultural practices) certified. We sell produce to Wegmans, all 10 stores in the Buffalo area and to our local Tops in Batavia and Attica and also to local farm stands.
We have two daughters – Krysta, who is a Special Education w/severe disabilities teacher and lives in Wilmington, North Carolina and Kelsey who is a team leader at Target in Batavia. We also have two dogs, a golden doodle named Lacee and a shitzu/poodle mix named Lexi.
Paul is very active in the East Pembroke Fire Company and he also serves as a Fire Commissioner. Gail is a member of Zontas and has been very active with the girls and their sports – being your typical “soccer mom” or “basketball mom” – and is also currently the treasurer for the East Aurora Farmers Market.
